The beach was beautiful with lounge chairs, towels and full bar service with wait staff.

The staff was generally relaxed about face masks except when entering and exiting public places, like the restaurants You need to wear a face mask while in the shops. Xcaret Mexico swimming pools are not heated. You pay extra for the food at Xsenses, so we returned to the resort for lunch. There is one park that is near Cancun, Xoximilco, that we did not visit because of the long drive. We did not see/do everything that was offered close by. We recommend the parks that are close to the hotel. Touches of humor where around, like vegan ice cream - a bowl of ice cubes The tours were great. We were not impressed with Chino Poblano and Arenal. Our favorites were Encanta and Kibi Kibi. If you walked around early in the morning, you would see people cleaning even the smallest spaces. Everything, including all common places were immaculate. The attention to the design detail is incredible. The architecture and landscape is magnificent. You have priority for the workshops in your house. The pottery workshops were the most popular.

There is very little direction on how to paint how to make your painting look like the example. The painting workshop is not like Painting with a Twist. The pottery needs to be done at least a couple days before departure so there is time for drying and firing. The dancing workshops were not available. Every day, we received a little basket with a Mexican treat and an explanation of that treat. Another thing we received that others didn't is upon arrival we got a personal tour of the resort. They even offered to help us unpack! The resort uses WhatsApp for general communication. We were in Casa de los Artistas ocean front rooms. Xcaret Arte was absolutely beautiful! They took really good care of us.
